In-home care services are largely provided through private payment; however, long term care insurance (LTC) could provide some coverage. LTC insurance helps pay for costs that private medical insurance does not cover, and it minimizes the financial impact of long-term healthcare needs. In general, LTC insuance covers the cost ofhome care, assisted living, adult daycare, respite care, hospice care, nursing homes, and Alzheimer's care facilities.
