The Early Periodic Screening and Diagnostic Testing (EPSDT) Personal Care Services program can serve children who need personal care assistance such as preparing food, help with going to the bathroom, household chores, accompanying to medical appointments and more! Residential Options Waiver - Residential Options Waiver (ROW) | Louisiana Department of Health
The Residential Options Waiver (ROW) was developed to assist people to transition from Intermediate Care Facilities for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ICD/IDD) to their own home in the community.
Veteran Assistance (Homemaker Aide Supervised) Homemaker and Home Health Aide Care - Geriatrics and Extended Care - A Homemaker and Home Health Aide is a trained person who can come to a Veterans home and help the Veteran take care of themselves and their daily activities. The services of a Homemaker and Home Health Aide can help Veterans remain living in their own home and can serve Veterans of any age. Homemakers and Home Health Aides are not nurses, but they are supervised by a registered nurse who will help assess the Veterans daily living needs.
This program is for Veterans who need personal care services and help with activities of daily living. This program is also for Veterans who are isolated, or their caregiver is experiencing burden.
Homemaker and Home Health Aide services can be used in combination with other Home and Community Based Services. Services may vary by location.
Respite Care - Geriatrics and Extended Care - Respite Care is a program that pays for care for a short time when family caregivers need a break, need to run errands, or need to go out of town for a few days. Respite Care can be helpful to Veterans of all ages, and their caregiver.
Independent Living Support Waiver - The goal of the SIL program is to teach functional skills which impact consumers’ abilities to perform as independently and as productively as possible.
Privately Paid Commerical Long-Term Insurance - If you need assistance with daily living activities, due to a physical or mental illness, or if you need help with personal care, long-term care insurance can offer a way to pay for it.
